Pasay families to receive SAP

MANILA, Philippines — More than 6,000 families in Pasay will receive cash subsidy under the national government’s Social Amelioration Program (SAP) this week.

The local government said 6,317 families would be receiving P8,000 per household.

A total of 26,557 beneficiaries in the city have received SAP since October.

Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano said the beneficiaries would receive a text message from Robinson’s bank.

Around 60,661 waitlisted families in Pasay were not able to receive cash aid during the first tranche of SAP distribution.
