Pasig’s most wanted drug suspect falls
MANILA, Philippines — The No. 1 most wanted drug suspect of the Eastern Police District was arrested in Pasig City on Monday night.
Roberto Datuin, 39, was apprehended during a sting in Barangay Pinagbuhatan at around 11 p.m., city police chief Col. Moises Villaceran said in a report.
Datuin was taken into custody after he reportedly received P500 from a police officer in exchange for a sachet of shabu.
The suspect allegedly yielded around five grams of shabu valued at P34,000.
In Marikina, a 36-year-old man was nabbed for alleged possession of P20,400 worth of shabu.
Kenneth Lloyd Belen was arrested in Barangay Marikina Heights.
Police said they recovered from Belen packs of shabu and P500 in marked money.
The suspects are being held by police on charges of drug trafficking.
