Fire hits textile warehouse

MANILA, Philippines — A fire of unknown origin broke out at a textile warehouse in Makati on Saturday night.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said the blaze started in the building at the corner of Bakawan and Mayapis streets in Barangay San Antonio at around 9:34 p.m.
The fire reached the third alarm and was declared under control after more than two hours.
No one was reported injured in the incident. Damage to property was estimated at P200,000.
Arson probers said they have yet to determine what caused the fire.
