Cebu, Leyte bettors win lotto jackpots

MANILA, Philippines — Bettors from Talisay City in Cebu and Ormoc City in Leyte won the jackpot prizes in the 6/55 Grand Lotto and 6/42 Regular Lotto draws, respectively, on Saturday night.

The bettor from Cebu won the P35.5-million lotto pot after he picked the six-digit winning combination 18-52-17-02-54-55, according to Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) general manager Royina Garma.

Six other players won P100,000 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The 6/55 Grand Lotto is drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

Meanwhile, the winner from Leyte won P48.7-million after he picked the six-digit winning combination 26-27-40-21-01-41 for the 6/42 Regular Lotto.

Twenty-one other players won P24,000 each for guessing five of the six-digit winning combination.

The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Garma urged the public to patronize the PCSO games as its revenues are used to provide financial assistance for the poor.
