18 families left homeless in Navotas, Caloocan fires

MANILA, Philippines — At least 18 families were left homeless in separate fire incidents in Navotas and Caloocan since Friday.
In Navotas, 12 families lost their homes in a fire that reached second alarm along Los Martires street in Barangay San Jose before dawn yesterday.
Fire probers estimated the damage to be P50,000.
In Caloocan, six families were affected by a fire that razed a three-story building along Tanigue street in Barangay 14 on Friday afternoon.
Investigators pegged the damage at around P200,000.
