MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go has sent assistance to 150 people who have recovered from COVID-19.

Through his team, Go distributed packed meals, food packs, face masks and face shields at the Samar National High School in Catbalogan City early this week.

Understanding the need to commute for essential travel, Go gave away bicycles to selected recipients. He also distributed tablets for use of students in online classes.

Personnel from the Department of Social Welfare and Development distributed financial assistance while the Department of Trade and Industry assessed and validated potential beneficiaries for livelihood package under its Pangkabuhayan sa Pagbangon at Ginhawa program.

Go urged those who need medical assistance to visit the Malasakit Center at the Samar Provincial Hospital.
