Robredo, aides negative for COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — Vice President Leni Robredo and her staff members have tested negative for COVID-19 days after they were exposed to an individual who contracted the disease.
“All staff members of the Office of the Vice President have tested negative for the virus. Thank God! All the activities today and the succeeding days will proceed as scheduled,” Robredo posted on her Facebook account.
On Sunday, Robredo said she and some of her aides went on quarantine after they interacted with an individual who had tested positive for COVID-19.
“We were in close contact (with the person). But we followed all protocols – we wore face masks and shields and practiced social distancing. I think we are safe, but we need to follow the protocols just to be sure,” she said.
