MANILA, Philippines — An estimated P34 million worth of shabu was confiscated during a sting in Taguig on Friday, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) reported yesterday.

John Michael Fabellon, 33, and Myer Andaya Santos, 23, were arrested by PDEA agents along Col. Martinez street in South Signal Village.

The suspects allegedly sold drugs to a police officer who posed as a buyer.

Seized during the operation were bags containing around five kilos of shabu, police said.

PDEA officers said they recovered the marked money and a motorcycle reportedly used by the suspects in their drug trade.

The suspects are being held by police on charges of violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act.
