Drug suspect slain in Negros Occidental

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Unidentified motorcycle-riding men shot dead a drug suspect in Barangay 4, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental on Tuesday.

Initial investigation showed Rolyn Gutierrez was driving his tricycle with a passenger when he was shot.

Maj. Romeo Vargas, Himamaylan City police chief, said Gutierrez was a member of the Bugalong drug ring and ranked seventh on the drug watchlist in the city.

In Olongapo City, the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency said P326,000 worth of shabu were recovered from 15 suspects in raids on three drug dens along Pagasa street, also on Tuesday.
