MANILA, Philippines — A 15-year-old boy died after another boy shot him for allegedly not remitting the proceeds of drug deals in Tondo, Manila shortly before midnight on Monday.

The victim and three other boys, aged 15 and 16, were having a drug session at a house in Barangay 120 when one of the boys shot him in the head after confronting him over the drug money at around 11:45 p.m.,  said Capt. Henry Navarro, Manila Police District (MPD) homicide section chief.

A witness and some neighbors brought the victim to a hospital, where he died hours later.

Navarro said the assailant was arrested during a follow-up operation. The MPD has launched a manhunt for the two other suspects.
