Las Piñas’ most wanted falls

MANILA, Philippines — The seventh most wanted man in Las Piñas City was arrested on Wednesday night, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said yesterday.

NCRPO chief Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas said operatives of the warrant and subpoena section and intelligence unit of the city police served the warrant on 35-year-old Macoi Fausto.

Sinas said Judge Lorna Navarro Domingo of the Las Piñas Regional Trial Court Branch 201 issued a warrant for Fausto’s arrest for frustrated homicide and possession of illegal drugs.

He lauded the city police for arresting one of the most wanted persons in Metro Manila.

“This is a manifestation of our dedication in maintaining peace and order in the metropolis,” Sinas said.
