Quakes rock Masbate

MANILA, Philippines — Two mild earthquakes rocked the province of Masbate yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quakes with magnitudes 3.6 and 3.8 occurred at 11:12 a.m. and 11:50 a.m., respectively.
The epicenters of the temblors were located 25 kilometers southwest and 15 km southeast of Claveria town.
Both were felt at Intensity 2 in Claveria.
No damage to property or aftershocks were expected from the quakes, Phivolcs said.
