Calabarzon’s 2nd most wanted killed

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Philippines — The second most wanted person in Calabarzon was killed in an alleged shootout with police officers in Tiaong, Quezon on Friday.

Col. Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director, said Alvin Punzalan, 46, fired at police officers serving an arrest warrant for murder at his residence in Barangay Del Rosario.

Police said Punzalan was also a member of a drug ring operating in Metro Manila.

A caliber .45 pistol and a sachet of shabu were reportedly recovered from the fatality.
