US embassy donates hygiene kits to Manila

MANILA, Philippines — The United States embassy donated yesterday 5,000 hygiene kits and 16 handwashing stations to a quarantine facility in Tondo, Manila.

Mayor Isko Moreno received the donation from US Ambassador Sung Kim at the Delpan quarantine center.

The hygiene kits contained face masks, soap, laundry detergents, dishwashing liquid and toothbrushes.

The donation is part of the information campaign BIDA Solusyon in a partnership with the Department of Health, US Agency for International Development and Procter and Gamble.
