81st Malasakit Center opens in Apayao
MANILA, Philippines — Sen. Bong Go attended on Thursday the virtual launch of the 81st Malasakit Center in the country at the Far North Luzon General Hospital and Training Center in Luna, Apayao.
It is the second Malasakit Center established in the Cordillera Administrative Region and the 41st in Luzon.
The Malasakit Center is a one-stop shop where Filipinos can avail themselves of financial and medical assistance from the Department of Health, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office and PhilHealth.
“Isang opisina na lang sa ospital mismo sa lugar ninyo ang kailangan ninyong puntahan upang makakuha ng mas mabilis at mas maayos na tulong medikal mula sa gobyerno,” Go said during a videoconference call.
