P.3 million ecstasy tablets seized in Parañaque
MANILA, Philippines — Agents of the Phlippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) confiscated 200 ecstasy tablets valued at P340,000 and other illegal drugs in Parañaque City yesterday.
The drugs were seized during a raid on Swiss national Thomas Fritz Stucki’s house in Barangay BF Homes at around 8 a.m.
Around 1,000 kush seeds, several sachets with traces of cocaine and two firearms were also seized during the raid, PDEA reported.
Stucki’s partner, Chickena Magbojos, was arrested during the raid.
Stucki, allegedly a major supplier of party drugs in Metro Manila, was arrested on Aug. 27 in the same barangay together with Carlos Ruiz Gonzales and Raymond Dragon.
Stucki has been under surveillance for about two months following reports of his involvement in illegal activities. Among his alleged clients are university students, PDEA said.
Criminology student held for weed
In Pasig, criminology student Jorgia Zaragoza, 23, and his companion Darwin Carpio, 21, were arrested after they were caught with at least a kilo of marijuana valued at P180,000 during a sting in Barangay Caniogan at around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
Zaragoza, who is in the police drug watchlist, and Carpio were apprehended after they reportedly sold two bricks of marijuana to an undercover police officer for P45,000.
The suspects are being held on drug trafficking charges.
