MANILA, Philippines — A month after the government resumed lotto operations after a five-month hiatus, a bettor from San Fernando City, La Union won the jackpot of the 6/42 Regular Lotto drawn on Thursday.

Royina Garma, Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office  (PCSO) general manager, said the bettor guessed the six-digit winning combination 03-11-06-19-33-10, which had a total jackpot of P49,707,326.80.

Garma said 32 other bettors won P24,000 each for hitting five of the winning  numbers.

The jackpot of the 6/42 Regular Lotto was last won in February. A bettor from Tagum City, Davao del Norte took home P36.6 million.

The 6/42 Regular Lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

The PCSO suspended lotto games on March 17 in view of community quarantine restrictions to contain the spread of coronavirus disease-2019.

Lotto operations resumed on Aug. 4 in areas under general community quarantine and modified GCQ.
