P2.3 million drugs seized in Metro Manila
MANILA, Philippines — Illegal drugs worth nearly P2.3 million were seized in separate stings in Metro Manila since Monday.
Bhedz Dalingding, 52, and Teresita Honorica were arrested for around 252 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at P1.7 million along Oroquieta street in Sta. Cruz, Manila before dawn yesterday.
In Quezon City, 115 ecstasy tablets valued at P195,500 were confiscated from Trisan Jay Howard and Marcelino Avenido, both 23, in Barangay Bahay Toro at around 7 p.m. on Monday.
Jonnel Joshua and Francis Elijah Tamayo, both 27, were arrested for allegedly caught with a kilo of marijuana with a street value of P120,000 at around 8:30 p.m. on Monday.
Around 17 grams of shabu were seized from Anthony Fernando, 30; Erwin Coreche; Gaodencio Caveiro, 41; and Ma. Jesica Baoyogas, 29, in Barangay Pasong Putik at around 12:30 a.m. yesterday.
