3 held for drugs in Quiapo

MANILA, Philippines — Three persons were arrested in a drug sting in Quiapo, Manila yesterday.

Operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency’s Region 3 office apprehended Cathy Fatima Ampatoa, Jamilah Mapandi and Abolkahair Mapandi along Gonzalo Puyat street at around 1 p.m. and confiscated marked money and 500 grams of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at around P3.4 million.

Agent Roy Castillo alleged that the suspects set the meeting in Quiapo following a week of negotiations in Pampanga.
