MANILA, Philippines — At least 386 overseas Filipino workers were repatriated from Lebanon on Sunday, including 20 OFWs who were injured in the massive explosion in the capital Beirut on Aug. 4.

The repatriates were welcomed at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 by Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. and Overseas Workers Welfare Administration chief Hans Cacdac.

Locsin said the OFWs arrived at the NAIA on a chartered flight of Qatar Airways, including the remains of four Filipinos who died in the bombing.

He became emotional in his speech as he welcomed the OFWs back to the Philippines.
