MAKATI, Philippines — After the local government’s frontline workers, residents of Makati City will receive free influenza and pneumonia vaccines, the city government announced on Thursday.
Residents may register with the city government’s website proudmakatizen.com and wait for a message confirming their schedule, the city government said in a statement.
The vaccination will be available to holders of Yellow and Blu Cards, which the city government uses to provide social and health services.
Mayor Abby Binay said around 500,000 residents would be given free vaccines for three strains of influenza and pneumonia.
