American pedophile deported
MANILA, Philippines — A suspected American pedophile has been deported by the Bureau of Immigration (BI).
Craig Alex Levin, 64, was arrested at his condominium unit in Barangay Cogon Ramos, Cebu City on May 24 after he was caught bringing a 15-year-old girl to his room, according to BI Commissioner Jaime Morente.
“He has been placed in our immigration blacklist. He is now perpetually banned from reentering the Philippines,” Morente said.
He said Levin is wanted in Philadelphia for sexual exploitation of minors in the Philippines and child sex trafficking.
Quoting US authorities, Morente said Levin is a “dangerous sexual predator who targeted vulnerable children in the Philippines.”
Levin allegedly uses the internet to persuade, entice or coerce a child into sex trafficking during his visits to the Philippines.
