4 dead in Davao Norte banana plantation attack

DAVAO CITY, Philippines  –  Four people were killed in a gunfight when unidentified men attacked a banana plantation in Barangay Mabuhay, Carmen, Davao del Norte yesterday.

Police said two of the fatalities, Kenneth Cabasingan and Ernie Rosalin, were security guards at the farm owned by the Puyod family.

Also killed were two of the suspects identified as Alijo Villa and Jun Ortega.

Five other suspects were wounded and 18 were arrested.
