P.8 million shabu seized in Parañaque

MANILA, Philippines — A man was arrested in a drug sting in Parañaque City on Thursday afternoon.

Police confiscated around 125 grams of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu with a street value of P850,000 from Alex Canao, 27, in a drug bust near his house at a compound along Tramo street in Barangay San Dionisio at around 12:30 p.m.

Canao was detained at the Southern Police District’s drug enforcement unit custodial facility while drug charges are being prepared against him.
