3 Chinese held for cursing cops

MANILA, Philippines — Three Chinese were arrested after they allegedly cursed policemen manning a quarantine checkpoint in Malate, Manila on Sunday.

Pan Fei Han, 35; Huang Sigin, 41, and Xia Zhicang, 45, were taken into police custody.

Police pulled over the Chinese who were in a silver Toyota Fortuner after they reportedly failed to present a quarantine pass at the corner of Quirino Avenue and Roxas Boulevard at around 2:45 p.m.

Charges of unjust vexation, resisting arrest, disobedience to a person in authority and driving without license were filed against the suspects.
