P2.5 million shabu seized in Quezon

QUEZON , Philippines — Three drug suspects were arrested in an anti-drug operation that resulted in the recovery of P2.5 million worth of shabu in Lucena, Quezon on Saturday.

Danilo Borjos, 29; Claire Jan Alagon, 29, and Crislyn Sayson, 20, were collared during a sting in Barangay Mayao Crossing at around 5:30 p.m., according to Col. Audie Madrideo, Quezon police director.

The suspects reportedly sold P5,000 worth of shabu to an undercover agent.

When frisked, the suspects yielded another 126.83 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P2.5 million, Madrideo said.
