Police couple, 3 kids held at checkpoint in Cagayan

Raymund Catindig - The Philippine Star

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — A police couple from Quezon City and their three children were refused entry in Barangay Nambalan here on Friday.

Capts. Arwin and Annalyn Caimbon claimed they were returning from their frontline duties in Isabela when they were held at a checkpoint at around 3 a.m.

Reports said the couple decided to leave with their children as they refused to submit for a checkup and quarantine at a government facility in this city.

Cagayan Gov. Manuel Mamba said people coming from Metro Manila should be barred from entering the province to contain the spread of coronavirus disease 2019.
