138 Pangasinan quarantine violators held

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — At least 138 persons were apprehended in Pangasinan on Monday for violating the protocols of the enhanced community quarantine.

A report from the regional police showed that 97 were arrested for not wearing face masks.

Eighteen persons were arrested for curfew violations and 23 for illegal gambling.

In South Cotabato, five organizers of a cockfight were arrested in Barangay Basag, Tiboli, also on Monday. Police said 50 other people at the scene managed to escape.
