MANILA, Philippines — Two Nigerians were arrested for allegedly swindling a Filipina of almost P1 million worth of face masks in Muntinlupa City on Tuesday night.
Responding on a complaint by a businesswoman, members of the Manila Police District Special Mayor’s Reaction Team led by Maj. Cicero Pura nabbed Iringe Koko, 23, and Kacha Chia, 26, at the Escalada South Metro Condominium.
Police said Koko introduced himself as Mohamad Saeed and convinced the complainant that he was a supplier for Saeed Laboratory Supply.
Chia identified himself as operations manager of Parcel Cargo and Logistics in Zamboanga del Norte.
Through Facebook, probers said the suspects enticed the businesswoman for the delivery of P975,000 worth of face masks.
