P1 million shabu seized in Metro raids
MANILA, Philippines — At least P1 million worth of shabu were seized in separate anti-drug operations in Metro Manila on Sunday.
The drugs were seized in the cities of Caloocan, Las Piñas, Taguig and Valenzuela, police said.
Personnel of the National Capital Region Police Office and Southern Police District recovered nine plastic sachets containing shabu with an estimated street value of P782,000 following a sting in Barangay New Lower Bicutan, Taguig.
The sting also resulted in the arrest of Samra Emat Mang, Hari Abusama Pangalao and Karigua Dasi Dimalilay.
In Las Piñas, police seized 2.1 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P14,280 in Barangay Talon 4.
Three drug suspects, identified as Henry Cruz, Christian Cruz and Lani del Rosario, were arrested during the anti-drug operation.
On the same day, at least P144,000 worth of drug were seized and two suspects were arrested in Barangay 188, Tala, Caloocan City.
Another drug suspect was arrested for possession of P40,800 worth of shabu in Valenzuela City.
Michael Bautista was arrested along the service road of the North Luzon Expressway in Barangay Maysan, police said.
