3 electrocuted in Capiz

ILOILO CITY, Philippines — A man, his son and niece died after they apparently touched a live wire in Panit-an, Capiz on Saturday.

The remains of Roger Concepcion, 51; his son Johnrey, 16, and niece Angel Adrigado, 11, were found near their house in Barangay Calaan, located five kilometers away from the town proper.

Concepcion’s daughter, Roselle, said she arrived home from Roxas City at around 6 p.m. and found her father and brother slumped on the ground.

Roselle said she found Adrigado several meters away from her father and brother.

Next to the bodies was a spliced wire connected to the power source of a water pump.

Concepcion and his son suffered burns in the hands.

The incident is still being investigated.
