Boy kills boy in Quezon City

QUEZON CITY, Philippines — A 15-year-old boy was stabbed to death by another boy his age during a fight in Quezon City on Wednesday night.

Police said John Michael delos Reyes was repeatedly stabbed along San Pascual street in Barangay Commonwealth at around 5:30 p.m.

The suspect, an eighth grader, is in police custody.

Investigators said Delos Reyes and the suspect got into a fistfight following an argument. The suspect reported got an icepick from another minor during the fistfight.

The suspect and his companion fled the scene while Delos Reyes was brought to a nearby clinic and then transferred to the East Avenue Medical Center, where he died around two hours later.

Barangay officials arrested the suspect while his companion remains at large.
