P1 million shabu seized in Cavite
MANILA, Philippines — Shabu with an estimated street value of P1 million was seized from three suspected drug traffickers in separate stings in Cavite on Monday.
Of the total volume of drugs, 100 grams with an estimated street value of P680,000 were reportedly seized from Michael Dreu in Barangay Malderan, General Mariano Alvarez.
Dreu, whom police said is a known drug supplier in the town, was collared after he allegedly sold P1,500 worth of drugs to an undercover agent.
Police also recovered a pistol from the suspect.
On the same day, two women were arrested after they allegedly sold 25.2 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P171,300 to an undercover agent in Barangay Talaba 4 in Bacoor.
Police identified the suspects as Alexa Mae de Castro and Fatima Lamban.
Meanwhile, at least 100 pieces of ecstasy pills hidden inside a soap box were recovered in a hotel in Barangay Molino 4, also in Bacoor.
A hotel employee alerted authorities after he found the drugs in one of the rooms.
Police estimated the drugs to be worth P170,000.
