Suspect in noodle vendor’s shooting nabbed

MANILA, Philippines — Police have arrested a man who shot and wounded a mami pares (noodle) vendor during a robbery at the Baseco Compound in Port Area, Manila on Tuesday.

Alexander Ogdamina, 38, owned up to the crime. 

Ogdamina was seen in a viral video shooting Samson Bautista, 41, after the vendor refused to hand over his bag containing cash.

Mayor Isko Moreno gave financial assistance to the victim, who remains confined at the Gat Andres Bonifacio Hospital.
