Student nabbed for P1.2 million weed

MANILA, Philippines — A graduating college student was apprehended for alleged possession of an estimated P1.2 million worth of marijuana at a bus terminal in Quezon City yesterday.

Ricafrente Karlo Jose Pio, 24, was nabbed at the ES Transport terminal along EDSA in Barangay E. Rodriguez.

Pio allegedly yielded some 10 kilos of marijuana stashed in cardboard boxes. 

Four other drug suspects were collared by police in Barangays Unang Sigaw and Sta. Teresita.
