4 escape from Bacolod police jail

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — Four inmates escaped from a police lockup in this city on Monday.

Police said Sunny Capa, Ely Lorence Sazon, Michael Peñoso and Jeffrey Elangos escaped after cutting an iron bar with a saw blade.

A manhunt for the escapees are ongoing.

The police officers on duty are being investigated for the jailbreak.
