3 slain in Ilocos gun attacks

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Three persons, including a former police officer, were gunned down by unidentified motorcycle-riding men in Ilocos on Sunday.

Former police officer Alex Lagmay was shot in Barangay Poblacion Este, Sta. Cruz, Ilocos Sur at around 12:45 p.m.

Conrado Castillo Jr., 33, was driving his motorcycle in Barangay Guerrero, Dingras, Ilocos Norte when he was attacked.

In Pangasinan, John Jomar Tugade, 30, a delivery man, was shot at around 7 p.m. in Barangay Amangbangan in Alaminos City.

Probers have yet to determine the motive for the killings.
