Red Cross opens 4th blood center in Bulacan

MARILAO, Bulacan, Philippines — The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) inaugurated its fourth blood center in Bulacan in this town on Monday. 

PRC chairman and chief executive officer Sen. Richard Gordon led the inauguration of the facility at the new annex building of the Marilao municipal hall. 

Bulacan used to have only one blood center, which is located in Malolos.

The second blood center was inaugurated in Baliwag in 2018. Last October, the third PRC facility was opened in San Rafael. 

The PRC said it would open another blood center in San Jose del Monte City next year.
