Bodies in car identified

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Police have identified the bodies that were found in a car in Bacoor, Cavite over the weekend.

Ronan Muji and Miguelito Estrera, both from Oriental Mindoro, were identified through their driver’s licenses, according to Col. Marlon Santos, Cavite police director.

Muji’s father Eldefonso and Estrera’s wife Emie told police they last saw the victims in a white van that was headed for Manila.

Emie said her husband contacted her by cell phone, but their conversation was cut off.

The victims were found in a white Nissan Urvan (NEA-9089) that was abandoned in Barangay San Rafael 4 on Saturday afternoon.

The victims’ were hogtied and their heads wrapped in duct tape.
