Quezon City blaze leaves 90 families homeless

MANILA,Philippines — Around 90 families lost their homes to a fire that reached fifth alarm in Quezon City yesterday morning. 

The blaze started at a three-story house made of light materials along Victory Avenue in Barangay Tatalon at around 11:39 a.m.

The fire quickly spread to neighboring houses and reached fifth alarm within 30 minutes.

It destroyed 40 houses before it was put out at around 12:46 p.m.

There was no reported injury or casualty in the fire.

Investigators, who said the cause of the fire is under investigation, estimated the damage to be around P150,000.
