P2.2 million shabu seized in Quezon City stings
MANILA, Philippines — Police seized more than P2.2 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu during separate stings in Quezon City on Monday.
Roland Fei Sanchez, 26, who is on the police drug watchlist, was arrested along Gen. Lim street in Barangay Sta. Cruz after he reportedly sold P8,000 worth of shabu to undercover police officers at around 7 p.m.
Fifteen sachets of shabu with a street value of P544,000 were seized from Sanchez.
At around 3 a.m., police seized around 250 grams of shabu with a street value of P1.7 million and arrested three suspects in an operation at a condominium in Barangay Sto. Cristo.
In Caloocan, Basty del Mundo and Aljon Agpoon were arrested for carrying 750 grams of marijuana leaves worth P15,000 and 18 grams of shabu worth P120,000 during a sting before dawn yesterday.
