Woman killed by robbers in Cavite

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — A woman believed to be a victim of robbery was found dead at her house in Barangay Castanos Cerca, General Emilio Aguinaldo, Cavite on Monday.

The body of Lorena Causaping, with her hands tied, was discovered at around 8:30 p.m. by her niece Mae Obias.

Police said there were signs of forced entry into the house of the victim, whose P100,000 in cash was also reported missing.

Probers are checking closed-circuit television cameras near the house of the victim to identify the suspects.
