Trader, 2 others shot dead

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — Three persons, including a businessman, were gunned down in separate incidents in Cavite, Rizal and Quezon on Tuesday.

Sonny Jurado was at his motorcycle parts and accessories store in Barangay San Jose, Rodriguez, Rizal when he was shot. His companion Ronald Topacio was wounded.

Frank John Paul Nala was shot in Barangay Timalan Balsahan, Naic, Cavite. He died on the way to the San Lorenzo Hospital.

In Quezon, Peniel Riazon, 36, was in Barangay Dinahican, Infanta when an unidentified man shot him at close range. His companion John Canieta was wounded and taken to the Claro M. Recto Hospital for treatment.

Investigations into the gun attacks are ongoing.
