Magnitude 4.4 quake jolts Isabela

ISABELA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.4 earthquake shook parts of Isabela yesterday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said.
Phivolcs said the tremor occurred at around 8:28 a.m., with its epicenter located some 33 kilometers southeast of Palanan.
The tremor was felt at Intensity 2 in Palanan.
Two aftershocks with magnitudes of 2.4 and 3.4 were recorded at about 8:54 a.m. and 9:09 a.m., respectively.
