2 dead in knife attacks in Ilocos Norte, Isabela

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — Two persons died in knife attacks in Isabela and Ilocos Norte on Sunday.

Farmer Rolly Bautista, 42, was allegedly hacked to death by his wife Lea, 42, at their house in Barangay Bagong Sikat, San Mateo, Isabela on Sunday.

Initial investigation showed the incident occurred following an argument as Bautista arrived home from a drinking spree at around 6:40 p.m.

Lea surrendered to responding police officers.

In Ilocos Norte, Joseph Mayubay was allegedly attacked by Marck Rodel Riñen while drinking liquor in Barangay Aring, Badoc.
