2 die in Pangasinan fire

SAN FABIAN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Two siblings died in a fire that destroyed their house in Sitio Pansil, Barangay Tocok in this town on Monday night.

Provincial fire marshal Supt. Eddie Jucutan identified the victims as Lennon Clinton Salvatera, 5, and one-year-old Maria Santina. The victims were alone when the fire broke out.

Probers said an unattended candle could have caused the fire.

It was learned that it was the first night of the Salvatera family at the house.

Meanwhile, three houses were burned in a fire in Barangay Dilan Paurido, Urdaneta City on Tuesday.
