3 Pakistanis nabbed for fake Canadian visas
MANILA, Philippines — Agents of the Bureau of Immigration (BI) recently intercepted at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) three members of a Pakistani family who attempted to leave for Canada using fake travel documents.
Mohsin Maqsood, Iqra Mohsin and Rida Mohsin yielded fake Canadian visas, according to BI port operations division chief Grifton Medina.
During questioning, the Pakistanis admitted that they bought their bogus Canadian visas for almost half a million pesos from a Pakistani and an Indian.
BI officers also nabbed a Bangladeshi for presenting a fake Canadian passport at the NAIA Terminal 2.
Md Abu Saied, 31, was intercepted before he could board his connecting flight to Los Angeles, California.
