Drug suspect killed in Bulacan

MALOLOS, Philippines — A suspected drug dealer was killed in an alleged shootout with police officers in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan yesterday.

Michael Kristan Dandan drew his gun when he sensed he had transacted with an undercover agent in a sting in Barangay Gaya-Gaya, Col. Chito Bersaluna, Bulacan police director, said.

Bersaluna said a caliber .38 revolver, 10 sachets of shabu and a sachet of marijuana were recovered from the fatality.

Meanwhile, in Pampanga, 200 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P700,000 were recovered from a certain Red Ayo in a sting in Barangay Pulung Maragul, Angeles City, also on Monday.

In Zamboanga City, sachets of shabu valued at P500,000  were recovered from businessman Domen Yu and Normal Cabili in a drug bust at a hotel.
