2 drug suspects killed in Bulacan
MALOLOS CITY, Philippines — Two drug suspects were killed in San Rafael, Bulacan on Friday.
The fatalities, one of them identified only as Carlo, fired at anti-narcotics agents who posed as buyers of shabu in a sting in Barangay Caingin, police said.
Two caliber .38 revolvers, 21 sachets of shabu, marked money and a motorcycle were reportedly recovered from the suspects.
At least 57 persons were killed in drug busts in Central Luzon in September alone, according to regional police director Brig. Gen. Joel Napoleon Coronel.
Coronel said 12 kilos of shabu and 15 kilos of marijuana were recovered from 1,087 arrested suspects. Ric Sapnu
