Taxi operator, jobseeker slain in Quezon City

MANILA, Philippines — A taxi operator and man applying to become a taxi driver were killed in a shooting in Quezon City yesterday. 

Jordan So, operator of Quad Core taxi, and Roger Soquita were outside the taxi firm’s office along St. Joseph street in Barangay Payatas when they were shot by motorcycle-riding assailants at around 8 a.m.

The case was turned over to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit of the Quezon City police.
